The route has the style and sophistication of Scandinavia, an Eastern European edge of romance and adventure and ends with the jet-set glamour of Monte Carlo. Starting in Copenhagen on Sunday 19th May, the route incorporates Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Krakow, Vienna and Verona, before crossing the finish line in Casino Square on the night of Friday May 24th in Monte Carlo for the whole Grand Prix, Formula 1 weekend.
In six days the rally takes in an incredible thirteen countries as it winds through Europe. Let the adventure begin…

Lead by former land speed record holder Richard Noble OBE (Thrust 2, 633mph, 1983), and driven by Wing Commander Andy Green OBE, the current record holder (Thrust SSC, 763mph, 1997), the BLOODHOUND team also comprises world class aerodynamicists, aerospace and automotive engineers, electronic experts and rocket scientists, as well as hundreds of volunteer ambassadors working within the 5,300 UK schools already engaged with the project.

Optimal energy effeciency was achieved by making informed decisions and small changes to reduce energy consumption without affecting operational requirements. Boiler optimization, burner management, lighting upgrades, bore holes, energy monitoring and behavioural changes within the operational staff all contributed to carbon reductions.
CNI’s offset program, following a detailed analysis of NUFC’s residual energy emissions, produced a detailed CO2e profile for the club and the club went beyond zero emissions by off-setting more carbon than the operation emits, and in doing so, becomes the world’s first football club to be truly ‘carbon positive’.
Sauber F1 Team
What’s in a name? As a Formula One team boss, Peter Sauber (which translates as “clean”) enjoys the reputation of a straight-as-a-die racer and responsible businessman. The Swiss entrepreneur built up his team in his home country – where motor racing wasn’t exactly popular – and has weathered some rough times over the course of 40 years. Sauber Motorsport AG, which is itself eminently international: the 300 or so staff listed at the start of the 2012 season represent more than 20 different nationalities. In addition to the Hinwil workforce, some 100 full-time employees of suppliers and service providers in the region depend for their livelihood on the company founded by Peter Sauber back in 1970.
The Sauber F1 Team is forging ahead with its commitment to the environment. After ISO 14001 certification was awarded to the company’s environmental management system in early April 2012, the Swiss team now operates greenhouse gas neutral. The initial requirement was to offset Paulie Malignaggi and his team, thus making them carbon neutral for 12 months. The decision to go carbon neutral was a long-held ambition for, which was driven by the desire to promote a sound and proactive sustainability policy – a first ever in boxing.
Based on the data compiled by the World Resources Institute, the detailed analysis of the Paulie Malignaggi Camp’s emissions data enabled CNI to obtain a clear and quantifiable CO2 emissions profile.
CNI will therefore assist in the purchase and retirement of the required carbon credits so that the Paulie Malignaggi Camp can fully realise their goal of becoming Carbon Neutral.
